How It Works

To find out more about each Step, please click on the headings below.

Also, please note that returning visitors are eligible for discount prices for refills of previous orders. Not only do returning customers enjoy substantial discounts on repeat orders, the process is much faster for repeated and refill orders. Your medical history data is stored securely, and the responses to your medical questionnaire are pre-filled (where appropriate) with your most recent answers. For more information on discounts for repeated orders, please contact our Customer Services advisers.

Step 1 – Select Your Medical Condition, Medication and Quantity

Prescription2Home only provides consultations and treatment for the medical conditions listed on the site. Our doctors will NOT enter into medical consultations unrelated to any other medical conditions. The conditions we treat  have been selected because they are amongst the safest conditions to diagnose and prescribe online. If you have any doubts or concerns about your own particular condition we would advise you to discuss the issue with your family doctor.

Firstly, you should go to your condition page. You can see the full list of conditions by clicking on “ALL CONDITIONS”  in the blue bar towards the top of each page.

On the relevant page, you’ll be able to read more about your condition. There is a list of the most frequently asked questions and answers for you to review.

You can also leave medical questions with our doctors, by clicking on the “Ask Our Doctors” button. If you have questions about the service itself, please leave a question with our Customer Service Team by clicking on the “Customer Service” button. (for some of these services you will need to be Registered with us – see Step 2 below)

You’ll see a range of prescription treatments available for each condition. If you are visiting the site for the first time, and are unsure if any of the treatments are right for you, please do seek advice from our doctors. If you are a returning visitor, or have a medical history of using certain products, then you can place your product in your order and progress to the consultation.

Step 2 – Login or Register

Before being able to place orders, or to seek advice from doctors, you will need to be registered with us.

You will be asked to login or register automatically if you attempt to place an order, or seek advice from our doctors.

Registration is easy. To register, we simply require your email address and a password. We will then validate your email address by sending you an email and asking you to click on a link in it. This helps us to maintain tighter security over who is using the site, and maintains confidentiality for all visitors.

Please note that your information is only used to prescribe, dispense and deliver medicines. We do not share your information with anyone, and you can read our policy on data in our Privacy Notice.

Step 3 – Complete an Online Consultation

After registering or logging in with your email and password, you will be able to progress your order request to the online consultation stage.

Just like a visit to your doctor, you will be asked a number of questions about your medical health and health history. This will help to inform our doctors if the treatment is right, and safe, for you. You must answer these questions honestly and truthfully, to ensure your own safety.

The questions will cover your general health and medical history, and there will also be a handful of questions relating specifically to your condition and treatment.

On completion your responses will be reviewed by one of our doctors. During working hours this review should be completed within an hour. The doctor may contact you directly for more clarification regarding your responses. Again, this is done with your safety in mind.

Step 4 – Checkout

Immediately following the online consultation, and before the doctor has completed the review, you will be expected to complete the checkout process.

This involves confirming the delivery address, the speed of delivery, acceptance of our Terms and Conditions, and also involves taking your credit card details. Pharmacy2U manage payments for dispensing and delivery, and you will see “Pharmacy2U” on your credit card statement.

Please note that if the doctor rejects your prescription request for any reason, your card is not charged. Your card is only charged if the prescription has been confirmed by the doctor.

Step 5 – Medicines Delivered Direct to Your Home

When the doctor approves your prescription, it is sent electronically to Pharmacy2U (a UK Registered Pharmacy) for dispensing and delivery.

As part of the checkout process you can choose from a “standard” or “express” delivery option. Orders can be delivered to most countries around the world. Generally, all packages will need to be signed for on delivery.

Orders are delivered in plain and secure packaging, ensuring that your medicines arrive undamaged. There is no reference to the contents or supplier anywhere on the outside of the packaging.
